Volunteer - Tangle

Tangle won't be able to run without the help of a crew of volunteers. If you're interested in volunteering, you can get a $30-$60 ticket with one volunteer shift or a free ticket with two volunteer shifts.

Volunteer roles

Food helper
Help us prepare for lunch and dinner and distribute food to attendees. Each of lunch and dinner counts as one shift. For dinner help, you'll have to leave the last session early. For lunch help, you may have to be late for the first session.

Checkin-er
Help check in people who are arriving for the unconference. This counts as one shift. You'll have to miss some of the opening ceremony.

Setup crew
Arrive an hour before start and help set up for 1-2 hours. This counts as one shift.

Teardown crew
Starting half an hour from the end of the event, help clean up the space so we can return it how we found it. This counts as one shift.

Dungeon Monitor
Support safety during the play party at the end of the event. Half of the play party counts as one shift.

Safety On-Call
Be available to talk to anyone experiencing a rough time during half of the sessions. You should avoid teaching a workshop or being tied up in a way you can't run away from during that time. Three sessions (2.5 hours) of on-call counts as one shift.
